
The International Community Corrections Association is renowned for its Annual Research Conferences featuring “What Works” in community corrections. Keynote speeches presenting state of the art research findings highlight evidence-based best practices in the field. An array of workshops focus on implementing best practices in a wide variety of topic areas.
ICCA hosts an Annual Community Corrections Public Policy Forum in Washington,
D.C. featuring criminal justice leaders from the Legislative and Executive
branches of Federal government and highlighting pending legislation of import
to the community corrections field. Participants are assisted in visiting
their elected officials in Congress during ICCA’s Annual Hill Day.

2010 D.C. Policy Forum
Knowing “What Works” is only half the battle; knowing how to DO “What Works” takes agency capacity, training and skills. This year’s Public Policy Forum theme is “Building Capacity, Generating Outcomes” and focuses on the application of research to practice for “getting things done.” This year's Public Policy Forum will be held March 22 -24, 2009, at the DoubleTree Hotel.
